This park gives me a nice community feel. And in Lavergne, the memorial there is a must see.
The trails are good for exercising. Very shady and quiet usually, but the playground equipment could use replacement. It isn't broken just super faded and looks super old.
I walk here most mornings, before the park starts filling up with families using the sports complexes. It has great walking trails. Great for walking dogs. The staff keeps it clean, however I don't understand why people visiting the park throughout the day, can't clean up after themselves. There are trash cans located practically everywhere.
I love walking my dogs here. It is a safe, friendly place to be with a close community feel.
Love going there to walk around and they have the local festivals there.
There is basic work out equipment there which is a plus, as well as skate park equipment and several ball fields. The play ground equipment is why I am giving it a lower score because the next closest park in the area (Lee Victory Park) changes out equipment and does maintenance on their equipment regularly.
